The 'Basic' is the simplest shoe we offer for those needing a cost effective solution for replacing old shoes on a budget.  

The black and white design looks stylish and the shoes are comfortable.

The shoes are durable and have two velcro straps which allow for better fitting accross the foot.

'Essential' Rowing Shoe by Oxbridge Boats                  £45 per pair
The 'Essential' is a strongly built rowing shoe that looks great with a black carbon 'look' design and feels great too.

These also dry super fast, so there is no need to leave them out for long periods after your rowing session.


The 'Essential' is a sturdily built shoe that has made a big impact in the US and Canada. It comes fitted with two Velcro straps that allow for extra adjustment advantage. The design allows for comfort and flexibility. 

All metal inserts used are of the best quality and this gives you a rust free sports footwear experience. The wide fitting design makes this pair of long lasters easy on your feet. 

The 'Essential' rowing shoes are pre hole configured in all sizes. This allows you to have your foot plates pre drilled in advance so that they are always ready for mounting. This feature has been developed after years of research and study based on our experiences with alignment angle of the shoe on the boats foot plate. 

Compared to the traditional way, the pre hole configuration is also a great labor saver when it comes to preparing the foot plates for use.  These rowing shoes can be used irrespective of boat design!

The 'Adjustable' is a no fuss rowing shoe that combines good looks with adjustable comfort. It is an adjustable rowing shoe that can be moved down an additional 3 sizes to fit multiple foot sizes.

The 'New Wave' shoe we believe is technologically the most advanced rowing shoe ever manufactured; that is why we offer a 2 year warranty on this product. 


Its single piece outsole and anti bacterial micro fiber build makes it the most exclusive pair of rowing shoes in the world. The 'New Wave' are being made in technical collaboration with New Wave, Germany who are official suppliers to FISA. 

The 'New Wave' is constructed using anti bacterial micro inner fibres that allow for quick drying. The Goretex uppers are waterproof and breathable and come with replaceable Velcro straps. It has a long lasting single piece outsole as well as is the only shoe in the world that has an all round stitch pattern.
